Tom Sawyer Sawmill has been offering portable sawmill services throughout Southern Ontario since 2007. We offer portable custom sawing services, lumber sales, and can provide anything from rough cut lumber to finished flooring, to timber framing timbers cut to precise dimensions.
We specialize in sawing reclaimed timbers, and local, Ontario grown, high quality white oak fence boards and horse barn lumber.
We can saw logs up to 36″ in diameter and 21′ long. Longer logs are possible, but they take more time to saw.
We use a Woodmizer LT40 Super Hydraulic band sawmill which produces highly accurate lumber with minimal waste. See the photo section for pictures of the sawmill in action. Anywhere we can get to with a pickup truck we can get to with the sawmill!
